Britt Bair graduated from Colby Sawyer College in New London, NH with a Liberal Arts degree and the University of California Riverside with a  Bachelor of Arts degree in Studio Art and Photography. Her career began as a Graphic Designer and Photography Rep. in New York City.

About eight years ago she started painting again and now works in a variety of medium including oil, acrylic, watercolor, pastel and photography. She has won many awards at local shows and has painted in Italy, Canada, Block Island, Martha’s Vineyard and Nantucket but spends most of her time right here in Connecticut with her husband and two children.

Her most recent work has been seen at Noroton Gallery, the Rowayton Arts Center and the  Community Cooperative Nursery School show in Rowayton, the Geary Gallery, the Darien Art Center Show, the Darien Library, Post 53 Art Show, Sterling Glen and the Patriot National Bank in Darien, the Loft Artists Association Open Studios, the Patriot National Bank and Palace Theatre in Stamford and the Brick Gallery in Essex.

She is the co-president and founder of the Wilson Avenue Loft Artists, co-president of the Fairfield County Plein Air Painters, helped organize Artworks Darien and is a member of the Rowayton Arts Center, the Silvermine Artists Guild and the Darien Art Center. Her work may be found in private collections from California to New York and Europe.
